Nicola will be featured on Vanity Fair August Issue.
PROVENANCE: Westchester, New York.
BREAKING THE ICE: Peltz, a self-described tomboy in her youth, was raised with seven siblings in a tight-knit, sports-enthused family. “I grew up believing I was going to be an ice-hockey player and then I got into acting and I liked that way better.”
PLAYING ALONG: The actress, who got her professional start in an Off Broadway play at age 13, has appeared in a variety of projects, from the hit A&E series Bates Motel to M. Night Shyamalan’s fantasy film The Last Airbender. “The reason I love it so much is because you get to play different people, and you get to experience things you never would in your everyday life.”
ACTING HER AGE: Peltz recently appeared in Transformers: Age of Extinction, the latest installment in Michael Bay’s smash-hit franchise. A bonus for the actress while working on the film was her co-star, Mark Wahlberg. “He is, by the way, the nicest, most talented, hardworking, coolest person I have ever met.”
LEARNING CURVE: Despite her in-demand status as a bona fide Hollywood darling, Peltz still has higher education on the docket. “My parents are definitely firm believers in me going to college, and I want to go. I think it’s important.”
With a little help from power stylist Leslie Fremar, the 19-year-old New Yorker has been turning heads on the red carpet lately.
Nicola Peltz is having a busy summer thus far, promoting Transformers: Age of Extinction around the globe. The 19-year-old New Yorker, who has starred in The Last Airbender and A&E series Bates Motel, is quickly becoming a young style star to watch, wearing designs by Giambattista Valli, Balenciaga, and Saint Laurent, just to name a few, on the red carpet.
From bold blues to perfectly placed cut-outs, Peltz has been knocking it out of the park at each city’s red-carpet premiere — and it certainly doesn’t hurt that she has celebrity stylist Leslie Fremar (No. 5 on The Hollywood Reporter’s Top 25 Power Stylists list, whose other clients include Julianne Moore and Reese Witherspoon) by her side throughout the promo tour.
THR recently spent an afternoon with the blonde beauty on Venice Beach, where she says she likes to watch her brothers some catch waves.

Hey guys, here’s a must see behind the scene from Teen Vogue of Nicola before the Transformers “Age of Extinction” Premiere in New York
If there’s one thing we know about Nicola Peltz, it’s that she’s a force to be reckoned with. It’s not exactly every day that a legendary director calls and asks someone to follow in the footsteps of Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Megan Fox to star in one of the hottest film franchises of the decade, but that’s exactly what happened to Ms. Nicola. Transformers: Age of Extinction opens nationwide tomorrow, and with it will inevitably come a collective obsession with its irresistible female lead.
For her part, Nicola is already doing much to stir the pot in fashion circles, stunning the cameras red carpet after red carpet in designers that only a true style savant would choose: Saint Laurent, Giambattista Valli Couture, Balenciaga, and Prada.
Nicola had this amazing photoshoot for Violet Grey’s, also it includes an interview.
ROSIE HUNTINGTON-WHITELEY: I remember getting the call from Michael Bay telling me that I got the role. It was a real mixed bag of emotions. In many ways, I felt that I’d won this once in a lifetime opportunity but I was terrified because I never acted before and never planned on it.
NICOLA PELTZ: I was so excited even though he warned me that it would be like no other movie set and that it would be really fast-moving and hard.
RHW: Yes, I’d come home from the action days just covered head-to-toe in bruises and cuts and have to get in an ice bath with Epsom salts.
NP: I didn’t realize how much running went into it.
RHW: Oh my god, and in heels!
NP: I can’t even wear certain open-toed heels now. [My feet] look so scary.
RHW: After you do a Transformers, you’re like the new hot babe in Hollywood. I felt that so many meetings with studio execs were really just about sprinkling a little bit of pleasure on some guy’s afternoon. I remember one man did bench curls throughout our whole meeting. Are you worried about being typecast or put in a box?
NP: I don’t know what’s coming but I think it’s best to just ignore it as much as possible. I have specific ideas about what movie roles I’d love to get next and I’m being really picky about it.
Hi everyone! So while the promotion tour of Transformers 4 goes by Interview Magazine showed some new photots of Nicola. There is also an interesting interview you should check out.
Nicola Peltz grew up in Westchester County, New York. Her father, Nelson, is a self-made billionaire and non-executive chairman of the Wendy’s Company who, for a while, took a helicopter to work in the city. In this summer’s Transformers: Age of Extinction, Peltz’s film father, played by Mark Wahlberg, is an inventor with a similar affinity for powerful machinery—though his toys can turn into gumball-colored alien robots. In the first two seasons of Bates Motel, Peltz, who is now 19, played the bewitching Bradley, the kind of girl Norman would have followed right up to the edge of sanity. And it is that sort of doomed charisma she brings to the poor little rich girl Kate in this July’s Affluenza—a Bret Easton Ellis-y tale of kids on drugs in love triangles on Long Island. But even as the age of summer blockbusters approaches, to transform her into a global star, Peltz remains cool and unaffected. We met at a restaurant in SoHo recently—she didn’t seem to notice people staring.
